Supporting the charitable work
of the Church of England
in the area of the ancient ecclesiastical parish of
Temple or Holy Cross and Archdeaconry of Bristol

Objectives

The Charity Commission Scheme requires the Charity to pay two fixed yearly payments totalling £600 to the parish of St Mary Redcliffe and to use the remainder of the income:

  • in furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the area of the ancient ecclesiastical parish of Temple or Holy Cross; and
  • in consultation with the Bishop of Bristol, in furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the area of the Archdeaconry of Bristol as it was on 20 January 1992. (the Area of Benefit) Click here for map.

The Charity carries out these objects by making grants to the parish of St Mary Redcliffe and to churches and other bodies which support the work of the Church of England in the Area of Benefit.
