Bristol Cathedral
The Charity’s latest funding has been used to install new doors and equipment as part of a larger project to improve both the warmth of the Cathedral and access for audiences of all needs. The splendid new glass doors leading from the main body of the Cathedral to the Cloister, which are shown in the photograph, were designed and created by the award-winning artist Tracey Sheppard, and they are beautifully inscribed with the words from Micah 6:8 Do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with your God.
The Charity’s funding has also helped to pay for a new boiler and draught exclusion measures throughout the building, and a new door at the cloister entrance, which provides access for visitors to the cafe and garden and is fitted with automated openers.
