Bristol North West CAP Debt Centre
Christians Against Poverty is a charity which helps people in debt to find a way to become debt-free, providing free financial advice and pastoral support, and helping many thousands of people to become debt-free every year. The Charity has supported the CAP Debt Centre in Bristol North West, which is based in St Edyth’s Church Sea Mills, with grants to help with the setting-up and running costs.
The Centre employs a manager and several volunteer debt coaches and befrienders, and it works in partnership with other agencies in the area to provide the best support for those in debt, including the Foodbank, the Department of Work and Pensions and Children’s Centres.
