St Luke’s Barton Hill

Half the children in our neighbourhood qualify for free school meals, so here at St Luke’s Barton Hill, we are providing school holiday lunches and activities, both filling a hunger gap and providing a space for children to explore, create and have fun.

In addition, The Temple Ecclesiastical Charity has also helped St Luke’s to support families all year round, by working with local families to identify what is needed in the area and then to support them to start community-led projects to enrich the lives of local families.

So far local families have supported

  • A parent & toddler group
  • An outdoor after school session
  • A free food store for families.

St Luke’s continues to evolve as we work with local families to develop activities that are needed in the area.
